Regarding Your Dam Complaint

Peter Dinklage reads a funny letter in defense of beavers at Letters Live at The Town Hall, NYC. The letter in 1997 by Stephen Tvedten was in response to a stern warning from the Department of Environmental Quality. They gave him six weeks to remove two “unauthorized” and “hazardous” dams from the stream on his property in Michigan or face prosecution. Tvedten’s amusing response made the local news and the case was quickly dropped.
