California’s Tallest Bridge

Grady with Practical Engineering shares an interesting look at Foresthill Bridge across the valley of the north fork of the American River outside of Auburn, California. It opened in 1973 and is the fourth tallest bridge in the United States. Auburn Dam left scars on both the physical and political landscape.
