If you’ve ever dreamed of having a car that can move sideways then you might like to get a set of these Omnidirectional Car Wheels. They were created by William Liddiard and the wheels allow the car to move laterally. I could see how this would be useful when you are trying to park your car in a tight space and don’t want to attempt the parallel parking maneuver. What I would find more useful is for all tires to be made so that they could self-seal in the event of a puncture because nobody enjoys a flat tire.
