“Bankrupt By Beanies” is a short film by Chris Robinson that features the The Ultimate Beanie Baby Collector who also happens to be his dad. His Dad’s obsession with collecting Beanie Babies was a wild and crazy ride for this family with the goal of paying for the kids college. It didn’t quite work out that way. The good news is he still has the beanie babies and I’m keeping my fingers crossed he’ll eventually get his money back. As for my baseball card collection sitting in my basement, I stopped hoping I’d get my money back from that little obsession a long time ago.
