I was skeptical when my wife asked me to search about 10 years ago but I found almost $3,000 I was owed. It was money from an old brokerage account that came into the account after I closed it. Since we had moved several times, the brokerage firm couldn’t locate me so they turned the money over to the State of Missouri.
