The Opossum is truly an awesome creature as you’ll see when you learn some interesting facts about it. I never stopped to consider that the possum is actually a marsupial but it is. I think what I like most about these creatures is that they are survivors. Possums have existed for millions of years and they aren’t picky about what they eat. Best of all they eat ticks which are in abundance anywhere there is a large deer population. Any animal that is immune to a rattlesnake bite has my vote for being a badass.
