The amazing scene was filmed by freelance photographer Peter Haygarth who spent fifteen hours hiding in a blind before the lions appeared. This is quite dangerous as he was only thirteen feet away from the lions. He didn’t use a flash, only LED spotlights to get these images of the lions as they are drinking from the watering hole in the Zimanga Private game reserve in South Africa.
