BE Judson shares a remarkable video of a grizzly bear taking down a bull elk in Yellowstone National Park. She was driving along the Yellowstone River early in the morning when she noticed some elk in a meadow then was amazed to see a grizzly bear chasing a bull elk into the river. The elk’s leg appeared to be broken, most likely from a fight with another bull elk, so it was at a considerable disadvantage when fleeing the bear. It took the bear about 30 minutes to drag the elk to the far bank where it fended off other predators from its kill. To see the grizzly bear the next day watch Grizzly Bear With Elk. This is nature at work and wildlife doing what it does.
