When a female Griffin Vulture died it left a baby chick and father to fend for themselves in their nest on the edge of a cliff in Israel. Conservationists had been studying the birds and had just recently set upon a camera so they were aware that the mother had died. With the help of a technology company and the Israeli military, they were able to use a drone to feed the bird until it was able to fly on its own.
