An interesting look at the people and streets of New York City in 1911. This is an original video filmed by the Swedish company Svenska Biografteatern when they were visiting America in 1911. It has been edited by correcting the speed and adding some sound to make the film more enjoyable to watch. I was somewhat amazed at how developed and crowded New York City was that long ago.
